The temperature on the coastal areas varies between 22°C in winter and 34°C in summer. The sea temperature varies between 22°C and 27°C. In the central part of the island, the maximum daytime temperature varies from about 19°C in August to about 26°C in February. The western and northern regions are warmer and relatively drier than the East and the South.

Day2. Exchange your vows in exclusive surroundings
The undersea world as unique witness, comfortably installed in a fully transparent glass cabin on-board a very sophisticated, air-conditioned submarine, the bride in white dress and the groom in dark suit will exchange their wish surrounded by tropical fish and standing beside you as your witness. We can also arrange underwater photographer to record this unique occasion.

At Eureka Colonial House- Eureka is one of the oldest family house which has been restored and furnished as it would have been during the colonial times. It is the perfect venue to turn the clock back to the past century while exchanging vows.

Mauritius is a paradise for deep sea fishing. Species include the blue or black marlin, all types of sharks, yellow tuna, the Bonitos, the ‘emperor’, the ‘pélerin’, the ‘bécune’ or the barracuda.

Huge fishes like the Blue Marlin roam our seas and hunt around the island from November to April, and very often until May.

If you are into diving and snorkeling then Mauritius is the place to visit especially between December and March when the waters around the island are at the clearest and you will have a great view of the wonders of the sea that surrounds Mauritius.

Starting from Pointe aux Piments in the North West, including the offshore islands of Coin de Mire, Flat Island, Gabriel Island in the North, to Grand Gaube, in the East, diving in the North is possible all year round, as the area is well protected from the prevailing winds. Slight currents thus enable a good visibility and night dives are also possible. Water temperatures are pleasant at 26-30 degrees celsius in summer (October to April) and 19-22 degrees celsius in winter (May to September).

Several of our hotels have excellent golf courses. 6 hotels have 18 hole Golf courses while three hotels have 9 hole golf courses in Mauritius.
The One & only Le touessrok Golf course is one of the best in Mauritius. The course is across the lagoon on a private island and all18holes have views of the ocean. The island can be reached by a golfing special water taxi.
